पद्मासनः पद्मकरः पद्मगर्भः समद्युतिः।
सप्ताश्वः सप्तरज्जुश्च द्विभुजः स्यात् सदारविः ॥
Sūrya — Sūrya is seated in Padmāsana and holds two lotuses in his two hands, his radiance is similar to that of the inner part of a lotus, he rides a chariot driven by seven horses and seven reins.
चन्द्रमा श्वेतः श्वेताम्बरधरः श्वेताश्चः श्वेतवाहनः।
गदापाणिर्द्विबाहुश्च कर्तव्यो वरदः शशी ॥
Candra — Candra is white in complexion, dressed in white robes, seated on a chariot driven by white horses, carries a mace and Vara Mudrā in his hands.
रक्तमाल्याम्बरधरः शक्तिशूलगदाधरः।
चतुर्भुजः रक्तरोमा वरदः स्याद् धरासुतः ॥
Kuja — Kuja wears a garland of red coloured flowers, red clothes, his body hair is red in colour, is with four arms adorned with spear, trident, mace and Vara Mudrā.
पीतमाल्याम्बरधरः कर्णिकारसमद्युतिः।
खड्गचर्मगदापाणिः सिंहस्थो वरदो बुधः ॥
Budha — Budha wears a garland of yellow coloured flowers and yellow robes, his radiance is akin to the Karnikāra flower, holds a sword, shield, mace and Vara Mudrā while mounted on a lion.
देवानां गुरुः तद्वत् पीतवर्णः चतुर्भुजः।
दण्डी च वरदः कार्यः साक्षसूत्रकमण्डलुः ॥
Bṛhaspati — Devaguru Bṛhaspati is yellow in complexion, holds Danda, Rudrākśamāla, Kamandalu and Vara Mudrā in his four hands.
दैत्यानां गुरुः तद्वत् श्वेतवर्णः चतुर्भुजः।
दण्डी च वरदः कार्यः साक्षसूत्रकमण्डलुः ॥
Śukra — Daityaguru Śukrācārya is white in complexion, holds Danda, Rudrākśamāla, Kamandalu and Vara Mudrā in his four hands.
इन्द्रनीलद्युतिः शूली वरदोग्धवाहनः।
बाणबाणासनधरः कर्तव्योऽर्कसुतस्तथा ॥
Śani — Śani has a radiance akin to Indranīla (blue sapphire), he is mounted on a vulture, he carries a bow, arrow, trident and Vara Mudrā.
करालवदनः खड्गचर्मशूली वरप्रदः।
नीलसिंहासनस्थल राहुरत्र प्रशस्यते ॥
Rāhu — Rāhu is fierce looking, carries a sword, shield, trident and Vara Mudrā while seated on a blue throne.
धूम्रा द्विबाहवः सर्वे गदिनो विकृताननाः।
गृध्रासनगता नित्यं केतवः स्युर्वरप्रदाः ॥
Ketu — Ketu is smoky in complexion, has many bodies with two hands and a fierce face, he holds a mace and Vara Mudrā while seated on a vulture.
